Tett Tuesday exhibition 

The Tett Tuesday Exhibition is an annual celebration of the artists who participate in Tett Tuesdays and make the program what it is. Showcasing artwork in a range of mediums, this exhibition offers a representation of some of the many amazing artists that make up the Tett community. Not all works included in the exhibition are created at Tett Tuesdays; the exhibition is meant to showcase the practices of participating artists, for whom this program can be a space for encouragement, resource and skill sharing, and creative accountability.

Exhibition dates: May 11–23

Curators: Nicole Daniels (TCCL Program + Communications Coordinator) and Sasha French (TCCL Creativity Studio Artist)

Eligibility Requirements

Any and all artists who have attended two or more Tett Tuesday sessions between September 2021–April 2022 are welcome to submit. All artists who meet this eligibility requirement will be included in the exhibition. Artists are welcome to submit up to five works for consideration; the curators will select up to three works from each of the eligible artists.

Submission Requirements 

• High quality photos of the works being submitted
  
  • Images should be titled as follows: #_Title_Name
  • eg. 01_BlueSkies_NicoleDaniels
• Image information — numbered list of submitted images including the following details:
  
  • Title
  • Date (year created)
  • Medium
  • Dimensions
  • Cost (if the work is for sale)
• Artist biography
  • Recommended length of approximately 3-5 sentences

How to Submit

Submit the following items via email to Nicole Daniels arts@tettcentre.org:

1. PDF document with all text components (see below). All mandatory components are marked with an asterisk (*). Files should be titled TettTuesday_ArtistName.pdf

• Name*
• Artist pseudonym
• Pronouns
• Contact information*
• Email, phone number optional
• Artist Biography*
• Recommended ~3-5 sentences offering any information you'd like to include about your practice/yourself. Include aspects of your practice that are relevant to the works you are submitting)
• Image information list*
• Include: title, date, medium, dimensions, and cost (optional)
• Website, Instagram handle, Facebook page

2. Attach high-quality images* of the works you are submitting, or share a Google Drive folder with all relevant images included.

• You may submit up to FIVE works for consideration
• Submit at least one image per artwork. You may submit multiple images of each work if you wish
• Images should be titlesd as follows: #_Title_Name (eg. 001_BlueSkies_NicoleDaniels)
• The image numbers should correspond to those on your image information list.

3. Questions, comments, and requests can be included in the email body.
