About the Activity Room

The Activity Room is an ideal multi-purpose space for hands-on workshops, collaborative projects and small meetings. The 600-square foot space includes adjustable track lighting, chairs, and tables suitable for workshops, and is equipped with a deep studio sink and kitchenette. It’s the perfect space to get creative! Please note that the Tett Centre does not take any commission from ticket sales or displayed work.

Room Capacity

30 guests without furniture, or 20 attendees seated together at tables.

Furniture

  • Includes up to twenty colourful resin chairs and nine 6’ rectangular tables suitable for workshops
  • Set up and take down of furniture (tables/chairs) included 
  • Garbage and recycling bins

Technical Equipment

  • Kitchenette with a stainless sink and counter. Mini fridge. No cooking appliances.
  • Adjustable track lighting
  • A tub sink with a paint trap for washing supplies.
  • A folding wall between the Activity Room and Tett Gallery

Tett Staff

  • Tett staff ($35 per hour, minimum three hours).
  • Security (required when alcohol is served / $40.00 per hour, minimum four hours).
  • Technician - (optional / $40.00 per hour, minimum four hours).

Gallery + Activity Room

Looking to run a gallery show showcasing what was made in your workshops and classes? The folding wall between the Activity Room and the Tett Gallery can be opened, creating one larger space. Please consult with our Rentals Coordinator about furniture availability and capacity when choosing this option.
