Spinning Frolic: The Vest Project
What happens when a group of spinners joins forces to turn wool fibre into a knitted vest? Come watch the whole experiment unfold and cheer them on!
We’ll be set up outside near the Tett Centre front entrance starting at 10:00 am (weather permitting). If the weather isn’t favourable, find us in Studio #205 on the middle floor beside the elevator. Check in throughout the day to see progress: we’ll be spinning, planning how much fibre is needed, and knitting — and we’ll post updates as the vest takes shape.
Seeing Ourselves: Self Portraits by Organization of Kingston Women Artists
In the quiet act of facing a mirror, women throughout history have turned self-portraiture into a bold and defiant gesture of self-reclamation. Seeing Ourselves: Self Portraits by the Artists of OKWA draws on this legacy for its annual exhibition, inviting both artists and viewers to consider the many ways identity can be revealed.
