The Nature of Being [Exhibition]
A balance between what is seen and what is felt.
Two artists meet in a shared language — where the human form and the natural world reflect one another. In charcoal and paint, their works reveal how flash and forest, stone and spirit, belong to the same quiet earth.

Choreographic Thinking for Artists with Christopher House
This workshop is a two-day workshop for professional and experienced amateur artists making work in forms other than dance (ex. visual arts, theatre, architecture, writing, music, film, etc.) who are curious about their potential of choreographic thinking in their practice and for choreographers working in dialogue with other art forms. We will explore how the elements of choreographic thinking can enhance a diverse range of creative gestures, working together with optimistic rigour and foregrounds play, risk, pleasure and the generative nature of failure.

In Memory of Rose [Exhibition]
This exhibition is a retrospective of the work of Rose Stewart, artist, teacher, and friend. The work on display includes over 50 landscapes painted by Rose “en plein air”. The result of solitary days of observation spent in the countryside north of Kingston, outside of Halifax, in Vermont and in Italy, these small paintings were part of Rose’s private practice. They have never been publicly exhibited until now.
Please Note: The gallery will be closed the afternoon of Saturday, June 20 for a private Celebration of Life.
