The Tett Centre comes in above Ontario's Code for Accessibility, making it especially accessible to all visitors.
We welcome Service Dogs in the areas accessible to the general public of our building that are trained to assist their owners. Please be prepared to introduce your companion and/or share identification for your Service Dog with our staff and volunteers.
The Tett can be accessed from the front, north entrance on King Street West and the rear, south patio entrance. The front doors are automatic sliding doors. If necessary, access to a side loading door can be provided.
The Tett Centre entrances are equipped with truncated domes for the visually impaired to indicate a change of surface level. These can be found in our staircases as well.
Tett staff is available to assist patrons at the main entrance. Please contact Tett staff at info@tettcentre.org prior to arrival to arrange assistance.
There are accessible parking spaces in the Tett’s front parking lot.
There is a user-friendly accessible elevator between the first, second and third floors. Tett staff are happy to assist you while using the elevator.
Each floor has a washroom that is accessible to patrons using wheelchairs. These facilities are equipped with adult changing tables and emergency buttons.
