Please join Bethany Garner, a Tett Creativity Studios Artist and member of the Studio Art Quilts Association, who will be presenting a special opportunity to view and learn about small art quilts from artists all over the world.

Visitors will have the chance to touch and study the approximately 40 artworks up close and read the stories on the back of each piece. The event includes three short talks about creating art quilts which will be held in the Activity Room on Level One of the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 24th.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bethany Garner is a textile and weaving focused artist and arts professional, focused on sharing her 23 years of teaching experience as the recently retired Textile Arts Program Instructor at St. Lawrence College. She is keen to support those who have an interest in using fibre and stitch as their medium. Beth is a weaver and art quilt designed who has work traveling in Canada and the US, as well as around the world with Studio Art Quilt Associates.
