Come witness YGK Community Members performing a ‘Chance Dance’ creation after only being in rehearsal for two days. This choreography will be mapped out on the spot with the audience as witnesst, taking in all of the possibilities and capabilities of chance in movement.

The Ground UP Dance Festival 

The Ground UP Dance Festival was launched in Summer of 2022, and has acted as the first annual festival for professional dance in Kingston, Ontario. The Ground UP Dance Festival is focused on building community, giving dance focused performance platform, and supporting artists throughout their journey in creation and development. For its 2023 season, the festival is expanding... You can expect more shows, more workshops, and more opportunities for artists to get involved, all while taking up more space in YGK.
