Creativity Studio Sessions with Alice Melo

Register for our new program, Creativity Studio Sessions!

Creativity Studio Sessions is an open studio program geared towards beginner and emerging visual artists. This program acts as an extension of Tett Tuesdays, with a smaller group and concentrated opportunities for skill sharing and mentorship with our Creativity Studio Artists. Participants bring their own projects to develop, and can receive guidance from facilitators. At each Creativity Studio Session, one of our Creativity Studio Artists will be onsite to offer feedback and critiques, share advice and techniques, and answer any questions participants may have. 

Creativity Studio Sessions is not a formal mentorship or instructional program, but rather a more intimate open studio offering with professional artists onsite to help where they can. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and seek advice as needed.

Ages 18+

TICKETS

PWYC $10-20+ (per person, per session)

Limited space; capacity varies depending on the room each session is held in.

About Alice Melo

Alice Melo is a visual artist and art educator specializing in realism. She primarily works in acrylics, yet has a strong interest in other mediums such as oils, charcoal, gouache, pastels, and watercolours. Alice's work is often born out of memories and inspired by nature and the beauty that surrounds us. She emphasizes themes of nostalgia in her work, using soft backgrounds to create warmth and depth in her paintings. Alice is an experienced instructor and enjoys teaching art workshops to help motivate and cultivate creativity and confidence in her students.
