Tett Centre

On February 21st, at 1:00pm, Ian Arthur MPP will be at the Tett Centre as it celebrates our renovation in our beloved Activity Room 108. This well-used space is one of the Tett Centre's busiest spots for creative activities for the community. We are grateful for the grant that the Tett Centre received in 201 which has allowed our charity to invest in more storage, finish the floor, and add some equipment to make our space more usr-friendly.

The Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning is pleased to launch a festive and fun series called, Monday Morning Makings: Holiday Series. As the cold weather approaches, we invite you to join us in the studio, and create one-of-a-kind holiday cards, cheerful ornaments and unique artworks for yourself or to gift this holiday season. Each week discover new projects! This program is open to all ages, and is a great opportunity to create alongside your grandchildren, children, or friends.

Tett, Director of Recreation, the City of Kingston purchased the deindustrialized Morton Brewery and Distillery complex in 1971 with the hope of transforming it into a community hub for the arts. The site was named the J.K. Tett Complex, in recognition of Tett’s vision, and functioned as an informal arts cluster until the mid-2000s.
