How the Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning is responding to COVID-19

NOTICE to the General Public

The Tett Centre is currently closed to the general public in response to the Ontario State of Emergency Orders.  The health and well being of the Tett community is of utmost importance and the Tett Board and staff are continuing to monitor the situation and look forward to re-opening the building when it is deemed safe and with the necessary precautions in place.  Until then, the Tett Centre is pleased to offer a number of creative opportunities online though social media platforms like FacebookInstagram and Twitter.  We hope you will check these platforms frequently as a way to stay connected with us.

We also hope you will stay up-to-date with the tenants at the Tett Centre and you can find out more information here.  And please note The Juniper Café recently re-opened and is pleased to provide take-out service as is allowed under the Ontario State of Emergency Orders.  Access to The Juniper Café is through the Tett Centre’s waterfront entrance only which is located at the bottom of Morton Way and more information can be found online here.

We can find solace, relaxation and fulfillment when we turn to art in times of crisis and consequently, we have created a wide range of engaging online services.  We hope that you will enjoy surveying what our artists and our Marketing and Program Coordinator, Danielle Folkerts, have put together for you.

Needless to say, the Tett tenant organizations and artists are so excited to welcome you back to the Tett Centre when the time is right and we encourage you to check out local resources that provide the most recent information about COVID-19 through the City of Kingston and the KFL&A Public Health Unit.

Be well,

The Tett Centre Board of Directors and Tett Staff
