What is the "Arte el Martes' Project?

The Arte el Marts Project is a monthly creative get together in a welcoming communal atmosphere where members can chat in Spanish and create art. This project aims to connect people interested in art and creativity within the Latin American community, especially as we cope with the effects of the pandemic. Participants are welcome to bring their own project, such as: painting, drawing, knitting, embroidery, crochet, hand sewing, sculpting, ceramics, print-making, adult colouring books and more. Enjoy conversations and topics related to art-making and Latino culture, customs, food and more.

Sessions run on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 7 PM – 9 PM on Zoom. Sessions are hosted online by local artist Ann Decker, in partnership with Kingston Latino and the Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning. No registration required. All mediums & skill levels welcome. FREE
