LET YOUR CREATIVE SPIRIT THRIVE AT THE TETT ARTS EXPO

Join us at the Tett Centre on May 13th for the annual Arts Expo, explore, create and be inspired!

See live music, dance and acrobatics all within the architectural splendor of the historic Malting Tower. An array of remarkable workshops and activities will be offered over the course of the day.

Don’t miss the Newcommer Artist Workshop, presented by the Kingston Arts Council and Kingston Immigration Partnerships. This intergenerational workshop, is a great way to connect with family and friends while getting creative in a vibrant setting. Don’t miss Visionary/Sanctuary in the newest Tett gallery, the KAC’s Unit 115.

Freely explore the open creativity studios and meet the resident artists. Tour the building and peek in at the Kingston Potters Guild or the Handloom Weavers and spinners to try your hand at these age-old crafts.

Take home a rare skill in the realms of jewelry making, weaving or bookbinding! Check out the full schedule of mini-workshops being presented throughout the day by our tenants.

Stop by Theatre Kingston and learn about the homegrown indie theatre party, Storefront Fringe Festival, which is coming to town this summer!

After a full day of art-making, Kingston School of Dance invites you to let loose and feel the rhythm with a fun lesson in dance. No experience required!

Bring the day to a close by observing the spectacle of Street Ballerina Performance Art Project with Mark Bergin taking place in the breath-taking Malting Tower.

However you like to express yourself, you’re sure to be inspired in the sunny stone corridors of the Tett Centre.
