About

The MiCiv Project is a creation, mentorship and training project that brings together Canadian Armed Forces Veterans who are performers and Canadian dance artists to collaborate on original works for the stage.  Our project offers professional development opportunities for military Veterans actors to train in performance practices with professional Canadian artists. We foster community engagement through various activities, including workshops, public talks and performances that create learning opportunities and promote knowledge about Canada’s military legacy.

The MiCiv Project is grateful for the support of the Roland Gossage Foundation, Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning, Veterans Affairs Canada, Private Donors, Ripley Aquarium, SoulPepper Theatre, Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Roy Thomson Hall/Massey Hall.
