Wood Slice Tree of Life Workshop

Join Lisa of Dragonfly Handmade for an afternoon working with the beauty nature gives us!

All materials are supplied for you to create your own Tree of Life ~ Family Tree.

I have collected, dried, sliced and carefully selected the wood for use in a piece of artwork. Many different types of wood are used to give a good variation in colour and grain. Some of the wood I cut at different angles and depths to give a 3D quality to your artwork. You can follow my basic design but allow yourself to let your own imagination and creativity loose to make your tree one of a kind.

You can add moss, bark, and any other nature finds I have with me to finish off your art piece.

The finished piece will be approximately 10” x 10” and ready to hang .

I will have my wood burning kit with me so I can...or do it yourself, woodburn your family name on the piece to make it truly personal.
