The Great Charcuterie Board Experience

CREATE your charcuterie board, DESIGN a delicious spread LEARN the art of pairing wine and food with 3 local charcuterie enthusiasts!

Join three local charcuterie and wine enthusiasts this winter to learn everything you need to know about charcuterie boards!

Part 1 - February 13, 6PM-8PM

  • First up, join Nick Allinson, a local woodworker & artisan to create your own charcuterie board from scratch. Nick will guide you through all the steps of making the actual board that you will use for your charcuterie serving. This is part one of this event and takes place at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning on Tuesday night from 6-8 pm.

Part 2 - February 15, 6PM-8PM

  • Next, head to the Confederation Place Hotel on Thursday night from 6-8 pm for part 2 of this workshop series! D'Arcy Bowker (owner of the Cheesy Pear) and Flame Eadie (local Sommolier) will guide you through designing a charcuterie board to make a beautiful spread and teach you everything you need to know about the appropriate wine a food pairings, all within your budget and timeline!

Please be aware:

This course includes alcohol consumption, participants must be 19+
This course includes handling food including meats and cheeses, nuts, grains, and fruits. Allergies or intolerances may not be able to be accommodated.

Refund Policy:

Ticket holders are eligible for a full refund 14 days prior to the event, a 50% refund up to 7 days prior to the event. No refunds are available after 7 days before the event.

Inability to attend will result in a class date transfer, or a case-by-case basis for refunds

If the course is canceled due to weather by the hosts, a refund will be offered and 8-hour notice provided.

ABOUT

Nick Allinson is a local workshop instructor who specializes in making charcuterie boards. Nick has been teaching these classes for about 5 years now at the Tett centre, for private groups and at other public venues. Nick loves working with his hands, meeting new people and sailing.
