Visit the Tett Centre for a journey of interactive arts experiences throughout the building, culminating in a collective display and celebration of our creative hub community in the Malting Tower. Engage with the Tett tenant organizations and studio artists throughout the building to create small creations that will be added to the Tett Tree of Life structure/installation in the Malting Tower. The event begins with two hours of interactive activities, and culminates in a collective gathering and musical performance by Yakothehtón:ni - Jennifer E Brant (artist, educator, and singer-songwriter).
The Tree of Life is a powerful symbol found in various belief systems and cultural traditions worldwide, and this collective installation celebrates the rich diversity and sense of unity within our vibrant arts community at the Tett Centre. This event features representations from different cultures, showing how we are all interconnected through shared symbols and archetypes. Through a diverse range of artistic expressions, the activities and installation promotes cross-cultural understanding and appreciation, bringing people together beyond language and geography.
