Kingston School of Dance

Location: Suite 303 (3rd Floor)

  • Breakdance workshop with Devon Runions of Kingston Freestyle Dance

           12:30pm - 1:30pm, Studio B of the KSD
           Free to the public, for ages 9 – 99 yrs / no experience necessary
           18 spots available

  • Open Contemporary Class with Sasha French of Movement Market Collective & Ryan Stillwell of KSD on percussion

           11:00am - 12:00pm, Rehearsal Hall
           Free to the public, for ages 9 – 99 yrs / no experience necessary

Join Kingston School of Dance for two free workshops open to the public! No prior experience required. Unleash your inner dance and get your body moving and your heart racing! 

 

Theatre Kingston

Location: Suite 111 (1st Floor)

  • Face painting activity at the Theatre Kingston

Visit Theatre Kingston and participate in an exciting face painting activity, a great way to transform yourself into a character and bring imaginations to life.

 

Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre

Location: Suite 305 (3rd floor)

View Modern Fuel’s Spring Exhibitions featuring Sam Cotter, Groundings at the Main Gallery; Jason Lujan, Together We Can Rule This Land, at the State of Flux Gallery; and Jocelyn Purdie, Bird Life at the Window Gallery. 

 

Kingston Handloom Weavers & Spinners

Location: Suite 205 (2nd floor)

  • Exhibition: 75 Years of Weaving and Spinning at the Tett Gallery
  • Open Studio at the KHWS

Visit KHWS to explore their studio and their 75th-anniversary celebration exhibition at the Tett Gallery! Explore their collection of handcrafted clothing, featuring handwoven fabrics and handspun yarns, which showcase the skill and dedication of fibre arts in Kingston for 75 years. 

 

Kingston Lapidary + Mineral Club

Location: Suite 209 (2nd Floor)

  • Open Studio at the KLMC

Visit KLMC to explore their studio of handmade jewelry, minerals, gems + more! Everyone is welcome and will be given a tour of their shop as well as a show and tell. Members of KLMC will be working on the machines for demonstration. 

 

Kingston Potters' Guild

Location: Suite 207 (2nd Floor)

  • Open Studio at the KPG

Visit KPG to explore their studio filled with a variety of wonderful samples of unique, handmade pottery and ceramics! Members of KPG will demonstrate creating pottery through hand building with clay on the wheel. 

 

Creativity Studio Artists

Location: Suite 214 (2nd floor) 

  • Open Studio + Sale at the Creativity Studios

Explore the Creativity Studios, where you can meet our eight resident artists, view their studios, and shop their onsite collections! Artists (Alice Melo, Natalie Bohnen-Twiddy, Bethany Garner) will be onsite throughout the event. Pop in and say hi! 

 

Joe's M.I.L.L. (Musical Instrument Lending Library) 

Location: Suite 110 (1st floor) 

  • Open Studio at the Joe's M.I.L.L.

Visit Joe's M.I.L.L. to discover the joy of music! Sign up for a membership or explore their collection of instruments, and let your musical adventure begin.

 

While you’re here, stop by the Juniper Café for a coffee or lunch. Musicians from the Song Circle group will be playing at the Café's patio from 11am - 3pm!
