Come experience an art exhibition featuring three generations of Langlois women: The late and great Terry (mother/grandmother), Susanne (daughter) and Iris (granddaughter).

Sapphire Thread is an immersive art show celebrating Terry's creative process, tracing how her influence, energy, and creativity have permeated the Langlois family, our artwork and our outlook on living an artful life.

Proceeds from the sale of art cards will go to support the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund.

Free admission! All are welcome!

LOCATION: The Tett Gallery (Room 109 on the 1st floor/bottom level)

EXHIBITION DATES & HOURS:

  • Saturday, March 2nd,10am to 5pm. Opening reception: 5pm to 8pm.
  • Sunday, March 3, 10am to 5pm.
  • Monday, March 4, 11am to 4pm.

 

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Terry Langlois was a Kingston-based artist (1939-2021) who primarily practiced vibrant and colourful intuitive painting and photography in the 1990s.

Susanne Langlois Langlois is a Kingston-based painter known for painting the wind turbines as well as large scale floral and abstracts. www.susannelanglois.com
