Artist Biography

Michelle Reid is a Resident Studio Artist at Kingston's Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning.  Her oil paintings are a contemporary approach to post-impressionism that will spark emotional memories of catching the perfect light in familiar places.  She deconstructs a scene into bold and confident brushstrokes grounded in the drama between light, shadow and saturated colours that shine so bright it will make you reach for your sunglasses.
