Theatre Kingston presents: Murder He Wrote, The Villians of Charles Dickens.

Master thespian John Huston guides us through tales of bloody deeds in his one man play, Murder He Wrote, a riveting mashup of Charles Dickens stories over an hour at the Tett Centre.

Whether or not you’re a fan of the English novelists’ often florid writing style, you’ll be captivated by Huston’s grand and gleeful storytelling as he switches between several characters hurtling towards dark destinies.

Among them are the feral, coarse Fagin, who sends his henchman Bill Sikes off to murder Sikes’ lover, Nancy, and the aptly named Captain Murderer, he of the file-sharpened teeth and propensity for cannibalism. There are sympathetic roles, of course, like the benevolent Rose Maylie and Mr. Brownlow, but most of the action centres around the villains.

PERFORMANCES: 4:30pm and 7:30pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022!

In the Rehearsal Hall (Room 203 on the 2nd/middle level).

Tickets: $15.00 to $20.00
