Make a Live Edge Charcuterie Board

This workshop will walk you through the steps to create your own unique live edge charcuterie board (also known as a cheese board). All the materials are included in the price, all you need to bring is a little elbow grease. Dress to do some woodworking and be prepared to have fun! I will go through all the steps of choosing a suitable piece of wood, shaping and cutting the board to add a handle, removing or leaving the bark attached, sanding, oiling, and finishing the board for food-safe use. Save a little on the ticket price by bringing a friend or two!

Nick Allinson is a local workshop instructor who specializes in making charcuterie boards. Nick has been teaching these classes for about 5 years now at the Tett centre, for private groups and at other public venues. Nick loves working with his hands, meeting new people and sailing.
