
Sooth (2.0) is a site-specific movement residency that aims to disrupt marginalized local spaces through provocative performance by local LGBTQ and BIPOC movers. This project is a site-responsive celebration for these performers where they will share their unique identities.

About the Artist
Seymour Irons, the lead artist for Sooth (2.0), seamlessly blends mystique and the everyday in entertainment. Notable recent endeavors include his evocative costume designs for Queen’s University's "The Last Night at The Cabaret Solitaire" and "Blood River" with Theatre Kingston. Beyond the stage, Seymour's innovative spirit shines through his "Planet Wake Up" AR installations at the 2023 MAPP Showcase and his pioneering Virtual Reality Art Exhibit. Spanning XR, film, and theater, Seymour's work is driven by his passion for uplifting narratives. Seymour is a recent graduate of Queens University's Media and Performance Production program.
