Michelle Reid is a Creativity Studio Artist at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning. Her oil paintings offer a contemporary approach to post-impressionism that spark emotional memories of catching the perfect light in familiar places. She deconstructs a scene into bold and confident brushstrokes grounded in the drama between light, shadow, and saturated colours that shine so bright they'll make you reach for your sunglasses.
