Silk Road Diaries: A Modern Journey of Creative Exchange in China will share the story of Michelle Reid’s participation in the Silk Road: International Artists’ Rendezvous—an experience shaped by ancient history, vivid landscapes, and meaningful artistic collaboration. Over 40 minutes, she will guide you through travels to Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, and the awe-inspiring Mogao Caves, where the desert’s unique light and colour reshaped how she sees and paints.

Join us for a guided meditation where Jay Vidyarthi will invite 10 participants to slow down and experience the artworks in the Tett Artist Residency Showcase with clarity, presence, and curiosity.

Join fibre artist Tara Morris of Weave Me Be for an afternoon of creative play where you will weave a selection of beautifully coloured and textured fibres into your own piece of art. This hands on workshop will be a wonderful escape from themed winter cold into the warm and cozy world of wool. In this 3.5 hour workshop you will hear how to select fibres, experience warping a loom, experiment with weaving techniques and learn how to finish your piece for displaying in your home. This workshop is beginner friendly and all materials are included.

Join Adele Webster for a fun-filled in-person event where you can unleash your creativity through needle felting. Learn how to create stunning landscapes using colourful wool and a felting needle. All the materials are provided. You will be given a needle felting kit which will be yours to keep. She'll share the basics, tips, and tricks. The rest is up to you as you experience the magic of transforming raw wool into unique works of art. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and she'll provide the rest!
