Looking for a summer camp that balances creativity and movement? Arts & Sports Camp 2026 offers the best of both worlds!

In partnership with Queen’s Athletics & Recreation, this dynamic week-long camp gives campers ages 8 - 12 the chance to explore visual arts and stay active through sports and swimming. Each day, campers will spend half the day creating art at the Tett Centre and the other half enjoying sports and pool time at Queen’s ARC—a perfect blend of imagination, teamwork, and fun.

Join artist Kellyann Marie for a hands-on exploration of storytelling through textiles and mixed media. In this workshop, participants will create a small narrative fabric square or textile panel inspired by moments, memories, and everyday stories from their own lives.

Join writer/filmmaker Bojana Babić for a creative writing workshop that explores how everyday observations can become the foundation for compelling stories. Through a guided walk along the Tett's waterfront, participants will gather inspiration from the people, movement, conversations, architecture, and small moments that often go unnoticed. Using a series of observation and writing prompts, participants will transform these details into the beginnings of a scene or narrative, exploring how setting, character, atmosphere, and moments of tension emerge from lived experience.

Want to make handmade greeting cards or scrapbook layouts? Come join Lisa Henderson for the next Quick & Cute Classes at Tett Centre in Kingston on Friday, August 14 from 6 – 8:45PM. 

Class will be held in the Activity Room (Room 108). Cost is $36 ($31.86 + HST) and includes the Garden Gatherings Stamp Set * and all the consumable products needed to create 6 handmade greeting cards (3 designs, 2 cards of each design) OR 3 12×12 scrapbook layouts (3 designs, 1 of each design)!
