An Open Contemporary Class with Sasha French of the Movement Market Collective as part of the 2023 TCCL Spring Open House. 

A contemporary dance class led by Sasha French as part of this year's Ground UP Dance Festival, in the Rehearsal Hall of the Tett Centre from 11am - 12pm. This is an all level contemporary dance class, with live percussion accompaniment from Ryan Stillwell. No experience neccessary, for ages 9 - 99 yrs.

*Attire - comfortable clothes that are easy to move in, with socks or bare feet

About Movement Market Collective & Ground UP Dance Festival

The Ground UP Dance Festival was launched in Summer of 2022, and has acted as the first annual festival for professional dance in Kingston Ontario. Initiated through the Movement Market Collective, a group of professional and pre-professional dance artists, coming together to support and create opportunities towards dance in YGK since 2016. The Ground UP Dance Festival is focused on building community, giving dance arts a platform to showcase their work, and supporting artists throughout their journey in creation and development.
