About the Instructor

Alex Lowe is a graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Illustration at Sheridan College, and a recipient of a Certificate of Thanatology from Centennial College. Her three main passions are painting, storytelling, and helping others discover their own creativity. She has illustrated several publications, including her very own book. She takes most of her inspiration from nature, as well as human stories of grief, loss and perseverance. Although she is continuously expanding her artistic horizons, and enjoys many forms of traditional and digital media, she has a soft spot for ink and watercolours.
