Holiday Ornaments with Sasha French

Paint your own custom-made limited edition Birdgirl ornaments with Sasha French! 

Sasha Jimenez French (of Birdgirl Arts) creates a limited series of custom hand-drawn Birdgirl ornaments each year. These non-traditional holiday ornaments can be hung on a tree or used to decorate your home year-round. Join us in the Tett Centre Activity Room between 5–7PM on Thursday, November 17 to create your own holiday ornaments inspired by Sasha’s unique ornament collection.

Each participant will receive one or two locally cut birch ornaments to paint. Paint and paintbrushes will be supplied, but folks are welcome to bring their own supplies if they have a favourite brush or a specific vision in mind. This event is open to people of all ages — we will also have markers and other materials available for younger children or folks who prefer not to use paint.

Sasha will also have a collection of Birdgirl holiday minis available for browsing + purchasing at the event!

Tickets

$24+ for one ornament / $32+ for two ornaments

About the Artist

Sasha Jimenez French is a multidisciplinary Cuban American Artist from the Florida Keys. Continually pursuing the intersection of line and flow, on the stage and canvas. She creates, teaches, and performs at the Tett, with Kingston School of Dance and Movement Market Collective, and is one of the Tett Centre’s resident Creativity Studio Artists.
