Following the success of our first-ever Tett Adult Arts Retreat this past spring, we're excited to welcome you back for a special one-day Fall Edition!
Designed for adults (18+), this immersive creative retreat invites you to explore new artistic mediums, build practical skills, and connect with fellow makers in an inspiring, small-group setting.
Throughout the day, you'll move through artist studios across the Tett Centre, learning directly from experienced tenant artists and instructors. With only 12 participants, this retreat offers an intimate, hands-on experience focused on creativity, experimentation, and community.

🎨 Workshop Lineup

🎃 Needle-Felted Pumpkins & Gourds
Create charming seasonal pumpkins and gourds using needle-felting techniques while learning the fundamentals of sculpting with wool.
Instructor: Hollie Currie (Kingston Handloom Weavers and Spinners)

🌿 Gel Plate Printing
Create vibrant, one-of-a-kind prints through the playful process of gel plate printing. Using colour, texture, found materials, and botanical elements such as leaves and plants, participants will experiment with a variety of techniques while developing a collection of unique prints to take home.
Instructor: Jabra Mitwasi (Former Creativity Studio Artist)

🏺 Introduction to Clay
Discover the fundamentals of working with clay through a hands-on introductory workshop. Participants will create their own ceramic piece while learning basic hand-building techniques. Glazing and kiln firing are included.

Refund Policy
- Full Refund: Cancel by August 13, 2026.
- 50% Refund: Cancel between August 14 – August 28, 2026.
- No Refund: After August 28, 2026.
