Erica Gajewski
Erica Gajewski brings arts-specific knowledge to the Tett Board as a working artist and interdisciplinary scholar (B.F.A., M.F.A., and Ph.D. candidate, Environmental Studies, winter 2026). She draws on decades of material arts practice—the acquisition of visual language through diverse material explorations—paired with historical and contemporary knowledge of the dynamic relationships among art objects, artists, and cultural institutions. Her practice-led research is grounded in a broad understanding of our environmental relations with ecological systems, as well as human and more-than-human entanglements arising from the climate crisis and the Capitalocene. Erica seeks to strengthen the Board through her expertise in visual arts and contemporary culture as they relate to the institution.
