Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning is accepting proposals from emerging professional artists for two available studio spaces within its Creativity Studios program.
Located in a historic waterfront building on Lake Ontario, Studio H provides a bright, dedicated space for artistic practice within a vibrant, multidisciplinary arts community. This studio is offered under a one-year license, with the option to renew for up to three additional terms (maximum four years total).
Artists from all disciplines and at various career stages are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to both their practice and meaningful community engagement. Collaborative applications are welcome; artists applying as a pair must each submit an individual application and indicate their partnership.
Creativity Studio artists have access to studio space with public exposure and unique opportunities in a vibrant arts community. As part of the program, artists are required to take part in the larger Tett community by offering engaging activities such as small drop-in workshops, demonstrations, skill-sharing, advertised open studio times, and/or off-site promotion of the Tett Centre for a total of two and a half (2.5) hours per month.
