September 15, 2018 | 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Do you want to take better photos, but don't know where to start?
Do you have a "fancy" camera, but only use it on auto?
Overwhelmed by jargon like ISO, aperture and shutter speed?

Learning to use your camera in manual mode frees you to create with inspiration. I can help you get there!

In this three hour workshop you will learn:

  • How to have more control over your images by shooting in manual mode.
  • An understanding of ISO, shutter speed and aperture, and how they work together.
  • An understanding of exposure and how it impacts the look and feel of your images.

This workshop will be broken into three parts:

1:00 - 2:00 Manual Photography Instruction
2:00 - 3:00 Practicing our new skills by shooting in and around the Tett Centre

3:00 - 4:00 Image feedback and questions

Student Supply List:

  • Digital SLR & lens

  • printed camera manual*

  • Note taking materials

  • laptop and card reader (optional)
