Learn how to select, prepare and spin wool from a sheep fleece. Week 1 covers things to look for when selecting a spinning fleece, washing, and preparation options. Week 2 covers how to spin yarns from batts, rolags, and locks you prepare yourself.


Prerequisite: You must be able to spin a continuous thread.


Please bring your spinning wheel, hand carders and lap cloth. Some equipment will be available. Please notify the workshop convenor if you need to borrow equipment. Fibre will be provided.
