Looking for a creative way to spend Family Day? Our "Tett Artstravaganza!" starts at 6:30 am and continues all day, February 20th. 

By donation unless specified.

6:30 am to 8:30 am - Malting Tower

Dawnshaker Dance Party “Shake up your wake up!” with the Tett Dawnshaker Dance Party. This early morning groove with indisputable dance hits will start your Family Day off right! Coffee and treats available from the Juniper Café. Face Painting by Christine Harvey. Music by My Kinda DJ.

9:00 am to 10:30 - Malting Tower

Keep the rhythm going with Yessica Rivera Belsham and the Kingston Community Drum Circle in the Tett Malting Tower

10 am to 12 pm - Activity Room/Gallery

“Tread on It” T-Shirt Printing Workshop with Artist Jeff Mann. Discover the beauty and intricacy of car parts and tread patterns, then leave with your own colourful piece of wearable art! Maximum 20 people per session. Registration required: info@tettcentre.org $5 per person, includes T-Shirt

9 am to 4 pm - Rehearsal Hall/Creativity Studios F and G

Kingston Immigration Partners Multicultural Arts Festival, Winter Edition in the Rehearsal Hall. Featuring food, art & cultural activities from around the world.

1 pm to 3 pm - Activity Room/Gallery

Kids Creativity Club with Bonnie Crook. Our wildly popular club is back for a special Family Day arts adventure. Draw silly faces, make beautiful handmade beads and more. Join the Club!

2 pm and 3:15 pm - Malting Tower

The Snow Maiden with The Kingston School of Dance Experience midwinter magic in the sparkling debut performance of the Kingston School of Dance's youth ballet company.  Based on the classic Russian fairytale, The Snow Maiden is a short, family-friendly, original storybook ballet for dance lovers of all ages.

Including a special performance with the Kingston Adult Collective and the Kingston School of Dance Company Class 

10 am to 12 pm - Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club

With the Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club: Gem Trees. Eight spaces available for ages 8-14 yrs. Registration required: emoss@cogeco.ca *CLASS FULL*

1 to 3 pm - Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club

Wth the Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club: Wrapped Rings. Eight spaces available for ages 9-15 yrs. Registration required: emoss@cogeco.ca *CLASS FULL*

10 am to 4 pm - Kingston Handloom Weavers and Spinners

Join The Kingston Handloom Weavers and Spinners at their studio for an introduction to age-old crafts. Try weaving with small looms set up for all ages and skill levels. You too will have fun while helping to keep an ancient craft alive.

Juniper Cafe will be open from 8 am to 5 pm
