Rhonda Evans of Glocca Morra Studios

“Liquid Glass” is a beautiful acrylic pouring medium that does what it wants to do with a little help from you. While “Liquid Glass” is not actually glass, it dries so clear and shiny that it looks like glass!

In this workshop, Rhonda Evans of Glocca Morra Studio will teach you how to manipulate this paint with the many techniques that she has learned over the years. Students will first experiment with techniques and try out their ideas on a small panel before creating a 16x20 gallery depth panel board.

Workshop date & hours: Sunday, April 7, 2PM to 4:30PM.*

*The same workshop will also be offered separately from 10AM to 12:30PM.

Location: The Activity Room (Room 108 on the 1st floor/bottom level)

Register for the workshop today on Eventbrite TODAY!

About the Artist:

Rhonda Evans is a multidisciplinary artist whose artmaking practice is influenced by the rugged landscape and warm spirit of her home province of Newfoundland, as well as her family farm in Ontario. Environment plays a large role in her subject matter. These days, she is happiest in her studio when working with bright colours on subjects ranging from floral imagery to the babbling brooks and rocky shores of home, to playing with paint, ink, wool, glass or wood. Chaos you may say – maybe. But this is ‘making’ and anything is possible!
